Every rental car company has an app these days, but not all of them are equally useful. Here’s why the Enterprise app is a cut above the pack.
Key Features on the Enterprise Rent-a-Car App
The Enterprise Rent-a-Car app is available for free for iOS and Android users. The app provides you with everything you would expect and more—from being able to update and manage your credit card payment info, make a reservation, find Enterprise locations, contact customer support and roadside assistance, view and manage upcoming and past reservations, and manage your Enterprise Plus account.
Making a reservation
Tip: The app lets you manage your reservation, as long as you attach your Enterprise Plus number. So if you have not yet signed up for this loyalty program, do it to reap the benefits of rewards and get the most out of the app.

Tip: Note that Enterprise lets you credit your reservations to Enterprise Plus or to its sister company’s loyalty program. We recommend sliding your points to National’s Emerald Club, which has a much more generous redemption policy.
Tip: Perhaps the most exceptional feature is the ability to create a mixed-payment reservation, applying points for as many (or as few) free days as one desires. You can use a portion of your points to help lower the cost of any rental. Need directions? The Enterprise app provides directions from the terminal and multiple starting points. A gas-station locator is especially handy in helping find a gas station near the airport just before you return the car.
Drawbacks
While we generally love this app, there is one criticism. If you send a message to Enterprise or view Enterprise’s FAQs, you are thrown out of the app and on to the web in a traditional Internet browser window.
