Customer reviews of Fox Rent a Car depend on the specific location, and differ by ratings platform.

For example, Fox Rent a Car has an “A” rating from the Better Business Bureau (BBB) but has only an average 1.02 out of five stars on the website based on more than 200 reviews. The car rental company has closed 765 complaints in the last five years, with several claims about unexpected charges.

Fox does appear to be replying individually to the negative reviews about its brand online, across various platforms.

Is Fox Rent A Car a Good Choice?

As a company that focuses on price-conscious travelers, Fox may not offer the same premium experience as more corporate brands like National or Avis. However, you may very well have a good experience if all you’re looking for is a vehicle for a good price without many bells and whistles.

Fox has racked up a number of complaints on BBB over the past years and has some negative reviews online, but it does have a good score on Trustpilot and seems to be responding to negative customer reviews.
