How to Get to Emerald Club Executive Status
Why is Executive status important when any Emerald Club member can select from the Emerald Aisle? Executive status isn’t just for show. The top tier of the Emerald Club delivers additional benefits, including the ability to get full-size and above cars at the mid-size rate; earn free rental days after just six rentals; and guaranteed upgrades when you reserve a midsize or above. Furthermore, there are no restrictions on the type of car that can be booked with a free rental day, so long as you give 24 hours notice.
There are three ways to get to Executive status:
- reach 12 rentals (or 40 rentals days) in a calendar year
- pay with certain premium credit cards
- use a status match from another travel program.
Are you a road warrior? The easiest way to get to Emerald Club status is the match offer is for elite members of other rental car, airline and hotel loyalty programs. If you’ve proven that you’re always traveling, National wants to tempt you with Executive status.
