If you’re planning some North American travel in the next few months, Avis is giving a free rental day to Avis Preferred members who register and book two eligible rentals of two or more days by February 28, 2025.

How Avis Free Days Works
From now until February 28, 2025, Avis Preferred will award you one free rental day for every two rentals of 2+ days each. Every month, members receive a coupon for the number of free days they earned that month. These coupons are valid until May 18, 2025.
Note that all free rental days earned in a month must be used on the same rental. So if you earn five free days in December and redeem them for a three-day rental, you forfeit the other two days. Plan accordingly.
Avis Preferred members can register at any time before the promotion ends on February 28, 2025. You can earn free rental days retroactively, but only within the month you register. So, for example, if you register on December 20, you can claim free rental days on all eligible car rentals completed since December 1.

- You must register for this promotion, book, and complete eligible rentals by February 28, 2025.
- Every time you complete two rentals of 2 or more days, you earn a free day.
- Once you’ve registered, you will earn free days retroactively on all eligible rentals within the calendar month you registered.
- Eligible on bookings for an intermediate car class or above.
- Bookings are valid at participating locations in the U.S., Canada, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
- Be sure to use your Preferred member/Wizard number on your booking.
- You can earn up to five free rental days per month with this promotion.
- You must redeem your free days by May 18, 2025.
- Rental day reward coupons are valid for an economy (Group A) through a full size (Group E) vehicle.
- Coupons are not eligible for redemption in the New York metro area.
Avis Preferred: How to Earn Points
Avis Preferred members earn points based on how much they spend:
- 1 point for every dollar spent on the car rental.
- 2 points for every dollar spent on accessories, such as car seats, SiriusXM Radio, etc.
